Apple Business Device Management
Small Business Device Management with Apple Business — An Apple device management guide for the rest of us.
Managing a fleet of Apple devices doesn't have to be complicated or expensive — and it certainly doesn't require an enterprise IT department. Apple Business is Apple's powerful, free platform built specifically to help organizations of all sizes purchase, configure, and manage their Apple devices with ease. Whether you're running a growing startup, a small office, or supporting a team of remote employees, this course gives you the hands-on skills to take full control of your Apple environment.
In this course, you'll go from signing up for Apple Business to deploying fully configured, zero-touch Macs. You'll learn to manage user accounts and roles, federate your company domain with identity providers like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and configure security, networking, and personalization settings through powerful device management profiles. You'll also discover how to distribute App Store apps and third-party software at scale, protect sensitive data with FileVault encryption, and remotely lock or erase devices when needed.
By the end of this course, you'll have completed two real-world projects: configuring a personally owned iPhone for a staff member using User Enrollment, and deploying a company-owned MacBook that builds itself from scratch using zero-touch Automated Device Enrollment. No prior MDM experience is required — just a willingness to learn and an Apple device to test with. If your business runs on Apple, this is the course that puts you in control.
